【感 想】
晴れの予報で気温も高くなるので、予定より少し早い時間からスタートしました。渡渉箇所では水嵩が増していて靴を脱いで渡ろうかと思うくらいでしたが、なんとか渡る事が出来ました。第2吊橋を渡ってから、ずっと登りが続きます。暑さで汗だくになり、水分補給に気を付けながら歩きました。阿部さんがペース配分をゆっくりしてくれたので、あまりキツさを感じずに天狗岩分岐まで登れました。天狗岩付近からは霧がかかっていて、暑さが少し和らぎました。天狗岩に寄って、祖母山山頂へ。あいにく山頂はガスがかかっていて、景色は見えませんでした。9合目小屋で昼食を取り、お目当てのオオヤマレンゲを見に行きました。白い花があちこちに咲いていました。モクレン科らしいのですが、森の貴婦人と言われる通り、可憐で花の匂いもいい香りです。 予想以上に咲いていたので、オオヤマレンゲを見るなら祖母山に行くべきだなと思いました。下山で第1吊橋が通行止めで迂回路が出来ていたのですが、迂回路に行く分岐になぜだかロープが張られていて迷いました。梅雨時期に咲くので、天気次第ですが、また来年も祖母山にオオヤマレンゲを見に行きたいです。

As tattoo tints originated in East Asia, I was a bit skeptical of this Western brand being able to stand toe-to-toe with Japanese brow technology. Upon trying out the Tattoo Brow Gel Tint, however, I became a believer! While the formula is a bit goopier, Maybelline’s was a bit easier to apply, with the thicker texture actually working to its advantage. It allowed me to “shave” off mistakes with my fingernails before it began to set and tint the area. Better still, I only had to leave this on for twenty minutes, meaning I could paint them on during my ride to work and arrive with my brows perfectly done. Staying power – this tint will fade naturally over 2-3 days. It is recommended that you don’t wash it within the first 24 hours, but I just can’t go that long without washing my face. On my first wash the next morning, I noticed that the color faded a bit. Maybe I’ll try leaving it longer next time before peeling off for a longer lasting tint. However, I think that it will definitely be easier, and faster, for me to apply another coat of the brow gel tint before it totally fades away because I already have an outline to follow. So ideally, one can always have “woke up like this” brows by just reapplying every 2-3 days. Application is really easy and not any trouble at all.
